10-point roofing inspection
Free 10-point roofing inspection
When do I need to replace my roof?
Most high quality roofing products come with a 20 to 30 year warranty. Some even come with a lifetime warranty (to the original purchaser of the roof for as long as you own your home)
There are many factors which contribute to whether a roof will last between 20 and 30 years. The Florida Sun just eats through anything. Rain and humidity are also a factor in deterioration of roof surfaces as well as debris on the roof.
This is the premise of our Free 10-Point Roofing Inspection. We will help you identify:
- Loose or worn shingles. Cracked or missing tiles.
- Loose or missing flashing (underneath the roof product)
- Damage due to nearby limbs
- Storm damage to due hail or lightening
- Damage near the gutter systems (if applicable)
- Check all roofing vents
- Check skylights
- Check for holes from a multitude of outdoor animals.
- Stains inside the attic from any roof leaks.
- Stains on your ceiling which could be caused by a roof leak.
During the inspection, your roofing specialist will take digital photos of each area inspected. At the end of the inspection, you can expect those photos as well as a written report of our findings. Most of the times, there are only small fixes to address which will extend the life of your roof a few more years. A roof inspection by a licensed roofing contractor will allow you to address any minor issues while avoiding major roof repairs.
If you are reading this page, you must have concerns about your roof. This is a good time to take action. The longer you let these concerns linger, the higher the potential for additional damage.
Mid Florida Roofing has been in business since 1999 and has seen on numerous occasions how a small leak or loose shingle has accelerated the deterioration process. Sometimes, a little roof repair could have saved homeowners thousands in repairs. Our goal is to make sure that your roof lasts as long as possible while protecting your investment.
